SCM Chinese New Year Gathering cum Personal Tutor Meeting (Semester 2, 2024/25)
The First SCM Chinese New Year Gathering cum Personal Tutor Meeting was held on the HSUHK campus. Over 60 participants, including BBA-SCM and BMSIM students, as well as SCM academic staff, came together on 6 February 2025 to celebrate the Lunar New Year. The event provided a vibrant and festive afternoon filled with joy and laughter.
Students enjoyed a delightful lunch with their friends and SCM academic staff, marking the first time the SCM department hosted such a Chinese New Year gathering. During the lunch, students shared their campus life and learning experiences with friends and tutors, fostering connections, expanding their social networks, and building positive relationships with peers and tutors to support their growth and learning journey.
One of the event’s highlights was the much-anticipated lucky draw, where nine winners received exciting prizes. The top prizes were presented by the Head of SCM and the programme directors. Winners extended their wishes for a happy and prosperous year ahead to everyone in the SCM community. The lucky draw created a lively and cheerful atmosphere, bringing the festive spirit to its peak.
The gathering concluded on a high note, leaving participants with cherished memories and a wonderful start to the New Year.
