HSUHK Summer Academy 2025: Engaging SCM Session Highlights
The HSUHK Summer Academy 2025 was successfully held on July 30, 2025, with the session organized by the Department of Supply Chain and Information Management achieving success. The event attracted over a dozen secondary school students who showed strong interest in supply chain management and information management.
During the session, Dr. Valerie Tang, Assistant Professor of the Department, facilitated an engaging team competition game titled “Stockout?” All participants actively took part with great enthusiasm. Through the game, each team gained insights into the importance of information flow among different parties in supply chains. The students also seized the opportunity to interact with our teachers and current students, learning more about campus life and academic programs at HSUHK.
Following the game, Dr. Tang summarized the theoretical concepts behind the activity and explained how artificial intelligence can enhance supply chain efficiency. To conclude, she introduced the students to the BBA-SCM and BSc-BAIM programme, highlighting its key features and future prospects.
