HSUHK Bachelor of Science in Business Analytics and Information Management Programme Becomes Asia’s First Undergraduate Programme Endorsed by IIBA

The Department of Supply Chain and Information Management (SCM) of the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) has become the first International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®) academic partner in the East Asia region in the first quarter of 2025.

Recently, our Bachelor of Science in Business Analytics and Information Management (BSc-BAIM) programme, offered by SCM, has been officially endorsed by IIBA®. It becomes the first undergraduate programme in the Asia region to receive endorsement from IIBA® to date, showcasing the strong alignment between our curriculum and the international standards of the business analysis profession. This recognition strengthens the value of the BSc-BAIM programme in preparing students for careers in the related fields.

Dr Jack Wu, Programme Director of BSc-BAIM, said that the programme’s success in receiving IIBA’s endorsement is a testament to the collective efforts and unwavering support of the programme management team, the department, and the School. He extended heartfelt gratitude to the professional academic team and the committed administrative colleagues, whose hard work and collaboration made this achievement possible.
