The 15th Asian Logistics, Maritime and Aviation Conference (ALMAC) – International Plenary Forum
The 15th Asian Logistics, Maritime and Aviation Conference (ALMAC), jointly organised by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), was held at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre on 17 & 18 November 2025.
The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong was invited to moderate the Youth Empowerment Workshop on 18 November 2025. Dr Eugene Wong (Associate Professor – The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong; Director- Supply Chain Excellence and Innovation Centre) discussed the future development of the supply chains and the logistics industry with the following 3 industry speakers:
- Mr Samuel Lee – General Manager, DHL Express Central Asia Hub
- Mr Tom Lin – Supply Chain Senior Director, Procter & Gamble HK Ltd
- Mr Tim Wong – General Manager Cargo Service Delivery, Cathay Cargo
They shared the evolving landscape of careers in logistics and supply chain management, including the indispensable skills necessary for success in this dynamic industry.
MSc-GSCM students had the opportunity to attend the conference. Through joining the conference, students gained a deeper understanding of the future development of the supply chain industry and to equip themselves and prepare for their career development.
