BBA-SCM Student Wins HKIE Best Students Paper Award 2025
The Hong Kong Institute of Engineers – Logistics and Transportation Division (HKIE LTD) organized the HKIE LTD Best Students Papers Awards 2025 to recognize outstanding students who completed logistics engineering degree programs in Hong Kong during the 2024/25 academic year. The awards aim to promote innovative ideas and research in the design and implementation of sustainable logistics and transportation systems in the region.
The theme for this year was “Innovation in Transport or Logistics related topic”. The Papers submitted by participating students were reviewed and assessed by the HKIE LTD Judging Panel.
After several rounds of selection, including documentary assessment and video presentation, KO Tsun Ming (BBA-SCM, Year 4 student in AY2024/25) won the Best Students Paper Award 2025 for the paper titled Integrating Machine Learning for Demand Forecasting to Improve Inventory Management”.
