HSUHK Welcome Fest 2026 (Programme Session) – SCM Department
The Department of Supply Chain and Information Management conducted the orientation on August 20, 2026, welcoming over 120 new students from the BBA-SCM, BMSIM, and BSc-BAIM programmes, alongside SCM academic staff. The event was marked by a warm reception from our faculty, who were eager to greet all incoming students.
Following the kickoff by the programme teachers, Programme Directors Dr Helen Ma and Dr Jack Wu delivered welcome speeches and introductory remarks on the programme to the new students. During the session, new students had the chance to enjoy lively discussions with their personal tutors, sharing insights about their academic journeys and campus experiences. Subsequently, faculty and students participated in interactive games and activities, which enhanced mutual understanding and increased familiarity with campus facilities. These conversations also covered important topics such as adapting to university life, developing study plans, and exploring personal development goals.
The session ended on a high note with all participants actively engaging in games and gift exchanges, making the orientation a memorable and successful event.
