Assistant Professor (SCM)

Dr. ZOU received his Bachelor of Engineering from Zhejiang University (ZJU) and his PhD in Service Engineering from the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering at the University of Hong Kong (HKU). Prior to joining HSUHK, he served as a postdoc at the Department of Management Sciences, City University of Hong Kong, followed by a Postdoctoral Fellow position at HKU Business School. His research interests include service systems engineering, simulation and stochastic analytics, operations management, resilience, and intelligent optimization. His current work primarily focuses on smart services and operations management, especially in healthcare services such as outpatient care and emergency departments, as well as the resilience in complex networks.
