Asia Airfreight Terminal (AAT) Site Visit – Nurturing future talents
The Department of Supply Chain and Information Management organized a visit to Asia Airfreight Terminal (AAT) on 13 October 2025, with the participation of around 40 BBA-SCM students. Participants gained valuable insights into the daily operations of the air cargo terminal through this opportunity.
Asia Airfreight Terminal (AAT) is an air cargo terminal based at Hong Kong International Airport, Asia’s premier passenger and cargo hub. It offers a comprehensive range of quality services, from physical cargo handling to documentation processing.
During the visit, participants witnessed the collection of inbound cargo and toured numerous cargo handling facilities. Throughout the guided tour, participants were impressed by AAT’s commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality, supply chain safety and security. The tour enriched participants’ knowledge on the operations of an air cargo terminal.
