Career Talk – Cathay Subsidiary Services (CSS)
In April 2025, the Department of Supply Chain and Information Management invited Cathay Pacific Subsidiary Services (CSS) to conduct a career seminar on campus. The career talk provided students with insights into CSS’s subsidiary companies, graduate trainee programs, internship opportunities, and career development information. The event attracted over 90 students interested in the aviation industry.
Cathay Pacific Subsidiary Services (CSS) comprises four companies: Cathay Cargo Terminal, Cathay Dining, HAS, and Vogue Laundry Service. These subsidiaries specialize in providing comprehensive aviation support services to ensure smooth flight operations, enhance service standards at Hong Kong International Airport, and support Cathay Pacific’s global network.
During the seminar, CSS representatives detailed the business operations of each subsidiary, recruitment processes for graduate trainees and interns, structured career development programs, and employee benefits. Students actively engaged in the Q&A session, seizing the opportunity to ask questions.
The seminar offered valuable industry insights, helping students gain a deeper understanding of aviation-related businesses and empowering them to plan their future careers.
