Cocktail Reception of the Maritime and Aviation Internship Scheme 2019
The Maritime and Aviation Internship Scheme, under the Maritime and Aviation Training Fund, enters its sixth year with 12 SCM students participating in 2019. By participating in the Internship Scheme, students can gain exposure to a wide spectrum of career opportunities, allowing them to better understand the career prospects of various industry positions.
This year’s Cocktail Reception was held at the Hong Kong Maritime Museum on 19 July 2019. The Secretary for Transport and Housing Bureau, Mr Frank Chan and the Permanent Secretary for Transport and Housing Bureau, Mr Joseph Lai, officiated the Reception where they exchanged views on the development and prospects of the maritime and aviation sectors. The reception was well attended by participants in the Internship Scheme as well as stakeholders from the maritime and aviation sectors.
