“The Global Supply Chain Career Sharing: Insights from Industry Experts and Alumni” was successfully held on 10 April 2025, at the Gallery (CR103) of the Creative Humanities Hub at the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong. As part of our Professional Development Activity series, this event attracted 20 MSc-GSCM students eager to learn about career opportunities in the supply chain field.
We were honored to invite two industry experts and an alumna to share their insights:
- Ir Dannies HO – Chairman of The Institute of Purchasing & Supply of Hong Kong (IPSHK) & Purchasing Manager at The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited (Towngas)
- Ms Daphne CHAN – General Manager (Fashion & Lifestyle) at Kerry Logistics (Hong Kong) Ltd.
- Ms Catherine LIU – MSc-GSCM Graduate (Class of 2023) & Senior Logistics Specialist at a local trading company
All student participants gained valuable information regarding current industry trends, recruitment expectations, and IANG visa arrangements for staying in Hong Kong, providing them with essential guidance for their future careers. The event also featured an interactive networking session, allowing students to connect directly with industry experts and alumni, which was highly meaningful for expanding their professional networks.
