Programme Orientation cum Cocktail Reception for New Students 2023
The MSc-GSCM Programme Orientation cum Cocktail Reception was held at the Alva Hotel By Royal on 10 September 2023 (Sun), to welcome all new students for the 2023-24 academic year.
Dr Stephen Ng, Department Head of Supply Chain and Information Management and Dr Yue Wang, Programme Director of MSc-GSCM Programme kicked off the orientation with encouraging welcome remarks. After the warm welcome, Dr Yue Wang led nearly 45 participants, including freshmen, academic faculty and programme advisors, to join the toasting ceremony and celebrate this important moment together.
Dr Eugene Wong and Dr Danny Ho, MSc-GSCM Programme Associate Directors also provided useful information, including study plan, programme curriculum, academic regulations and so on, which would help students get a comprehensive understanding of the programme. Our alumni, Mr Chris Shu and Ms Catherine Liu, graciously shared their enriching learning experiences with the freshmen, instilling a sense of anticipation for their upcoming journey.
The orientation also provided a golden opportunity for new students to connect with each other through the ice-breaking game. Everyone interacted enthusiastically and had a great time together. The pleasant and wonderful day was filled with laughter, picture taking and loads of catching up.
