The first SCM Personal Tutor Tea & Talk was held on 5 February 2026 (Thu) at the HSUHK campus, bringing tutees and tutors together for an afternoon of conversation, sharing, and community building. More than 70 participants, including BBA-SCM, BSc-BAIM and BMSIM students and SCM academic staff, attended the gathering.

Designed as an informal meet-up, the Tea & Talk provided a welcoming setting for students to connect with their personal tutors and peers. Attendees shared their campus life and learning experiences, exchanged study tips, and discussed ways to make the most of university resources. The relaxed, small-group format encouraged open dialogue and helped participants expand their social networks while strengthening bonds with personal and peers.

In line with the goals of the SCM Personal Tutor initiative, the event emphasized building positive relationships that support students’ growth and their overall learning journey. Light refreshments were served throughout, creating a friendly atmosphere for meaningful interactions. Students greatly enjoyed the event and look forward to the next Tea & Talk.
