BBA-SCM Student won CILTHK Scholarship 2023/24

LEE Hin Wing Henry (BBA-SCM, Year 4 in AY2023/24) has won the CILTHK Scholarship for 2023/24. Among participants from several tertiary institutions, Henry was awarded the Scholarship in the Bachelor Degree category.

The Department of Supply Chain and Information Management held the orientation on 27 August 2024. Over 80 participants, including new students and SCM academic staff, took part in the event. Our academic staff warmly welcomed all new students.
QESS Project of SCM Department receives UNESCO Award

Organised by UNESCO World Heritage Institute of Training and Research-Asia and the Pacific Region, the “2024 Global Awards for World Heritage Education Innovative Cases” award ceremony was held on 23 July 2024 in New Delhi, India. The HSUHK Tiger Balm Garden Metaverse Virtual Reality project was judged in three rounds of expert reviews and highly impressed the panel, who selected it to win the “Star of Outstanding” award among hundreds of global projects.
HSUHK scholar’s work recognised as one of 25 most classic cases by Ivey Publishing

The business case study, Operations Strategy at Galanz, authored by a team led by Dr Stephen Ng, Head and Associate Professor of the Department of Supply Chain and Information Management at the School of Decision Sciences of the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK), has been recognised as one of the 25 most classic and widely used cases over the past decade (2014-2024) by prestigious international publisher, Ivey Publishing. The case has also been included as one of the business case studies by the Harvard Business Review.
HSUHK Summer Academy 2024: Engaging SCM Session Highlights

The HSUHK Summer Academy 2024 successfully took place from 30 July 2024 to 2 August 2024, with our SCM session held on 31 July. The session attracted a total of 28 participants who were interested in supply chain and management science.
Visit to Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (CAD) of Hong Kong International Airport

A Headquarter visit to Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (CAD) was held on 25 April 2024. As one of the international leading aviation hubs, not only retaining the regulatory role in aviation safety in Hong Kong, but the CAD also provides air navigation services for the flights at the Hong Kong International Airport and in the Hong Kong Flight Information Region.

BBA-SCM Students (Air Transport Stream) awarded in the Hong Kong Aviation Scholarship Scheme AY2023/24

To encourage continuous professional enhancement for the aviation sector, the Government will provide full scholarships, capped at about HKD100,000 each to selected students to complete aviation-related degree or higher degree programmes offered by tertiary institutions.
Congratulations to Dr George Ho and his team - Silver Award winner at the 49th Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions

The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) has once again made its mark on the global stage, achieving impressive results at the 49th Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions held from April 17 to 21.

This was the second time HSUHK participated in this prestigious exhibition. Dr. HO To Sum, an Associate Professor in the Department of Supply Chain and Information Management, School of Decision Sciences, won the Silver Award with his collaborative research project with Chef Digital Limited, which is supported by Research Matching Grant Scheme of the University Grants Committee.
BBA-SCM Student Won HKIE Best Students Paper Award 2023

The Hong Kong Institute of Engineers - Logistics and Transportation Division (HKIE LTD) organised The HKIE LTD Best Students Papers Awards 2023 for the outstanding students who completed logistics engineering degree programs (2022/23) in Hong Kong to promote innovative ideas and research in the design and implementation of sustainable logistics and transportation systems in the territory.
