Visit to Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (CAD) of Hong Kong International Airport
A Headquarter visit to Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (CAD) was held on 25 April 2024. As one of the international leading aviation hubs, not only retaining the regulatory role in aviation safety in Hong Kong, but the CAD also provides air navigation services for the flights at the Hong Kong International Airport and in the Hong Kong Flight Information Region.

The Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate Presentation Ceremony was successfully held on 30th April 2024 at HSUHK.
BBA-SCM Students (Air Transport Stream) awarded in the Hong Kong Aviation Scholarship Scheme AY2023/24
To encourage continuous professional enhancement for the aviation sector, the Government will provide full scholarships, capped at about HKD100,000 each to selected students to complete aviation-related degree or higher degree programmes offered by tertiary institutions.
Congratulations to Dr George Ho and his team - Silver Award winner at the 49th Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions
The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) has once again made its mark on the global stage, achieving impressive results at the 49th Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions held from April 17 to 21.

This was the second time HSUHK participated in this prestigious exhibition. Dr. HO To Sum, an Associate Professor in the Department of Supply Chain and Information Management, School of Decision Sciences, won the Silver Award with his collaborative research project with Chef Digital Limited, which is supported by Research Matching Grant Scheme of the University Grants Committee.
BBA-SCM Student Won HKIE Best Students Paper Award 2023
The Hong Kong Institute of Engineers - Logistics and Transportation Division (HKIE LTD) organised The HKIE LTD Best Students Papers Awards 2023 for the outstanding students who completed logistics engineering degree programs (2022/23) in Hong Kong to promote innovative ideas and research in the design and implementation of sustainable logistics and transportation systems in the territory.
SCM Team won the 2nd Runner-up in the CILTHK Student Day 2024 Competition
The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong (CILTHK) hosts the annual Student Day with missions to raise young people’s concern about the current issues of logistics and transport in Hong Kong, and to encourage them to develop their future career in related industries. This year, the CILTHK, collaborating with Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU), held the Student Day on 16 Mar 2024 at HKMU.
A Memorable Reunion of our alumni - SCM Gala Dinner 2024
On February 23, 2024, the SCM Alumni Gala Dinner was a warm reunion for all SCM friends, including our alumni, programme advisors and industry advisors. Over 110 people, a testament to our strong community, attended this great party, providing an excellent opportunity for our alumni to reconnect and feel a sense of belonging.
HSUHK SCM x Sage Collaboration Visit
A collaborative visit from The Sage Group PLC to the Department of Supply Chain and Information System (SCM) at Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) was conducted on 13 December 2023. This collaboration provides students with incredible potential opportunities, including certificates and internships. With professional training, students can develop specific skills and gain expertise in areas such as enterprise resource planning and business intelligence.
Binno Gathering cum SCM Personal Tutor Meeting (Semester 2, 2023/24)
The first Binno Gathering cum SCM Personal Tutor Meeting was held on HSUHK campus on 2 Feb 2024. Over 60 participants, including BBA-SCM, BMSIM students, and SCM academic staff gathered for an enjoyable night together.
SCM Mentorship Scheme 2023/24
The first kick-off meeting of the SCM Mentorship Scheme 2023/24 was successfully held on 20 January 2024. We were delighted to welcome experienced professionals and SCM alumni as mentors, as well as mentees who are ready to embark on a year-long mentorship journey.
