Visit to DHL Global Forwarding at AFFC

A site visit was paid to the warehouse of DHL Global Forwarding (DGF) at Airport Freight Forwarding Centre (AFFC) on 24 February 2018. Mr Tim Wong, Dr Eugene Wong and 33 students studying the airfreight management participated in the visit. Representatives from human resources, operations and customer services shared the details of DGF at the beginning of the visit, followed by a tour in the warehouse. Colleagues in DGF shared a lot of interested details in the warehouse, e.g. storage of high-tech products, packaging and protection of cargoes, measure and weighting process, etc.  Thanks to the hospitality of Rachel Lo, Mark Slade, Annie Gutteridge, Janet Lo, Ken Lee, Hong, and other DGF colleagues. The students learnt a lot during the visit.
