The SCM Mentorship Scheme aims to offer BBA-SCM and BMSIM students opportunities to enhance their personal and professional development. A series of sharing talks are prepared for students to learn first-hand knowledge directly from industry experts and distinguished alumni.

On 31 March 2022, the first mentor’s sharing talk was held successfully online. Our Scheme mentor and alumni, Mr. Eric Li, Senior Solutions Manager, Shenzhen 4PX Express Co. Ltd., was the speaker of the talk on the topic of “Cross border e-commerce is changing the international logistics market”.

First of all, Dr. Danny Ho and Dr. Cathy Lam welcomed Mr. Eric Li and students to join the talk. Next, Mr. Li introduced international logistics and the development of Cross-Border E-Commerce to the students. After that, students actively asked questions in the Q&A session and enjoyed the gaming session. They learned major logistics trends and effective means to enhance their employability in the current competitive job market. All participants found the talk very informative and insightfuland looked forward to the next mentor’s sharing talk.
