The Supply Chain and Information Department organized an online career talk titled “Supply Chain Employment Trend” on November 17, 2023. Ir Stephen Chan, Managing Director of Power Hub Limited, was invited as the keynote speaker. He shared with secondary school principals, career masters, and BBA-SCM students about the career path and development opportunities in supply chain management. The event attracted over 70 attendees. His impressive presentation was received with enthusiasm by the audience.

Dr. George Ho, BBA-SCM Programme Director, who recently achieved impressive results with his innovative research project at the Geneva 2023 International Exhibition of Inventions, moderated the event. He spoke about the future development of supply chain management with AI and technology.

The speaker, Ir Stephen Chan, has worked in the supply chain industry for over 40 years. He has gained many inspirations from his diverse activities in supply chain management. He shared with the participants the latest developments in the supply chain, the characteristics of supply chain managers, the value of supply chain managers and the career path. Through sharing and exchanging ideas, participants learned more about the career prospects in the field of supply chain management so that students can better equip themselves for career advancement. Participants found the exchange valuable and inspiring.
