On February 23, 2024, the SCM Alumni Gala Dinner was a warm reunion for all SCM friends, including our alumni, programme advisors and industry advisors. Over 110 people, a testament to our strong community, attended this great party, providing an excellent opportunity for our alumni to reconnect and feel a sense of belonging.

The President, Prof. Simon Ho, and the Dean of the School of Decision Sciences, Prof. Chan Wai Sum, warmly welcomed the attending alumni, followed by words of encouragement from the Director of Power Hub, Ir Stephen Chan. The Head of the SCM Department, Dr. Stephen Ng, highlighted the footprints of the past years and shared the remarkable milestones achieved by the department. In appreciation, souvenirs were presented to our programme and industry advisors, recognizing their invaluable contributions to the SCM department.

The highlight of the evening was the singing performance by our academic staff and alumni, which was met with thunderous applause and cheers, creating a memorable atmosphere. The event was made even more exciting with mini-games and a raffle. A puzzle game featuring photos of our beloved teachers was a nostalgic journey down memory lane. As the photos were unveiled, stories were shared, and anecdotes from their time at HSMC/HSUHK were told, evoking a sense of joy and nostalgia among the alumni.
