The Supply Chain and Information Department organized an online career talk titled “Supply Chain Employment Trend” on November 17, 2023. Ir Stephen Chan, Managing Director of Power Hub Limited, was invited as the keynote speaker. He shared with secondary school principals, career masters, and BBA-SCM students about the career path and development opportunities in supply chain management. The event attracted over 70 attendees. His impressive presentation was received with enthusiasm by the audience.

The Department of Supply Chain and Information Management offers "Master of Science in Global Supply Chain management Programme ", "Bachelor of Management Science and Information Management (Honours) Programme " and "Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) in Supply Chain Management Programme", which provide training for students at different learning stages.

The Department of Supply Chain and Information Management co-organized a recruitment talk with Cathay Pacific on 26 October 2023., aiming at delivering professional airline information of their Graduate and Internship Programme and opportunities at Cathay Pacific, with widening the horizons of students in further developing their career path. The seminar attracted over 50 participants to join.

The Department of Supply Chain and Information Management held the SCM Game Day Cum Department Personal Tutor Meeting on 12 Oct 2023. The event was successfully held and attended by over 60 students and SCM academic staff.

The Department of Supply Chain and Information Management held a face-to-face orientation on 14 September 2023. Over 70 participants, including new students and SCM academic staff, took part in the activity. Our academic staff give a warm welcome to all new students.

The Industrial System Engineering Management Innovation Project Competition aims to encourage undergraduate students the innovation of intelligent and applicable and applicable solutions for industrial and systems engineering management.

A terminal visit to Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (HACTL) was held on 9 May 2023. HACTL is one of the world’s leading air cargo terminals with unique world-class facilities, highly efficient operations, and innovative technology. HACTL is the largest independent handler at the Hong Kong International Airport – the world’s No. 1 air cargo hub.

“GSCM Leadership Talk – Leading through Managing Risk” organised by the Master of Science in Global Supply Chain Management Programme, The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, co-organized by Policy Research Institute of Global Supply Chain, and Hong Kong Institute of Engineers – Logistics and Transport Division, was held on 6 April 2023 at the Fung Yiu King Hall, HSUHK Campus.

The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong (CILTHK) hosts the annual Student Day with missions to raise young people’s concern about the current issues of logistics and transport in Hong Kong, and to encourage them to develop their future career in related industries. This year, the CILTHK, collaborating with The University of Hong Kong (HKU), held the Student Day on 11 Mar 2023 at HKU.
