The personal tutor meeting was held on 24 Nov 2022, it aimed at maintaining a friendly and constructive teacher-student relationship by providing a platform for students to share their campus lives and learning experience and for tutors to render advice as appropriate.

The Department of Supply Chain and Information Management offers "Master of Science in Global Supply Chain management Programme", "Bachelor of Management Science and Information Management (Honours) Programme" and "Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) in Supply Chain Management Programme", which provide training for students at different learning stages.

Three visits to the Hongkong International Terminals Limited (HIT) have been organized on 6 October 2022 (Thursday), 17 November 2022 (Thursday) and 24 November 2022 (Thursday). HIT is one of the members in Hutchison Ports with global network of port and logistics operations. The representatives of HIT have shared the latest development of the port and guided the participants in touring the container yard after the briefing. A total of 50 participants joined the event. Students learned a lot during the tour. A souvenir has been presented to HIT and a group photo has been taken at the end of the visit.

The Department of Supply Chain and Information Management co-organized with DHL a recruitment talk on Nov 17 for the Operations Management Trainee programme 2023. The HR representatives introduced the management trainee programme and let our students have a deeper understanding about the career prospects by joining the programme.

The Department of Supply Chain and Information Management organized two professional training workshops for SCM and MSIM students on 20 October and 10 November 2022 respectively to equip students with professional skills in both CV writing and interview. The workshops attracted over 80 participants to join.

The HSUHK Info Day 2022 was successfully held on 19 November 2022. Over 600 visitors visited the HSUHK campus to learn the latest information about admission scheme and academic programmes offered in the 2023-24 academic year.

“HSUHK Alumni Chill & Chat Series with Kerry Logistics” was held online on 9 November 2022 by Advancement and Alumni Affairs Office. Over 100 staff members, alumni and students joined the event.

The Department of Supply Chain and Information Management held a face-to-face orientation on 2 September 2022. Over 70 participants, including new students and SCM academic staff, took part in the activity. Our academic staff give a warm welcome to all new students.

The seminar of “Smart Supply Chain Decision Analytics” was held on 19 August 2022 for scholars, practitioners and students to explore the latest smart decision analytics for supply chain management.

​The Hong Kong Logistics Case Competition 2022, organized by Hong Kong Logistics Association, was held from 3 to 5 June 2022. It aims to promote practical problem-solving skills and creative thinking capability of our post-secondary logistics students to enhance their career development.
