Alumni Gather to Explore AI and Reconnect
On 18 September 2026, the Department of Supply Chain and Information Management (SCM) hosted the alumni event “From Notes to Knowledge: A Hands-On NotebookLM Workshop”, bringing together alumni and students for an evening of learning, networking, and reconnecting with the SCM community.
The event featured Mr. Aaron Sin as the guest speaker. Through live demonstrations and interactive sharing, he introduced the capabilities of NotebookLM and showcased how AI can support learning, information management, content analysis, and workplace productivity. Participants gained practical insights into leveraging AI tools more effectively in both academic and professional settings.
Beyond exploring emerging AI applications, the event also offered a valuable opportunity for alumni to reconnect. During the networking session, alumni and students exchanged experiences, shared updates on their academic and professional journeys, and strengthened their connections in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Alumni also took the opportunity to reunite with former classmates and relive fond memories of their time at HSUHK.
The event concluded in a warm and lively atmosphere. Through learning, sharing, and meaningful conversations, participants not only gained practical AI knowledge but also enjoyed an enriching and memorable evening with the SCM community.
