Career Talk Series Recap: Campus Sharing by Leading Logistics and Aviation Companies and Organizations
This semester, the Department of Supply Chain and Information Management successfully hosted a series of career talks featuring eight leading companies and organizations from the logistics and aviation sectors. These sessions provided students with valuable insights into industry trends, internship and full-time job opportunities. Participating organizations included DSV, AS Watson, Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK), Menzies CNAC, Cathay Subsidiary Services (CSS), DKSH, SF Supply Chain (HK) and the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS). Each talk attracted over 80 enthusiastic students.
Representatives from these companies shared detailed information about their business scope, career development paths, recruitment requirements, and application processes, covering both internships and full-time positions. Students actively engaged in Q&A sessions and eagerly submitted resumes after the talks, demonstrating strong interest in their future careers. Direct interaction with industry professionals enabled students to gain firsthand knowledge of company operations and market trends.
These career talks have provided students with valuable guidance for their career planning, helping them prepare proactively and build a solid foundation for success in the logistics and supply chain fields.
