Internship Seminar & Career Workshop
To strengthen students’ practical skills and job competitiveness, the Department of Supply Chain and Information Management organizes workshops and talks every year, covering internship preparation and job-seeking skills.
Last semester, the department held an internship seminar for all third-year BBA-SCM students. Mr. Harry LEE, Associate Programme Director (Business Logistics), explained the internship requirements, resource utilization methods, , and important tips to help students prepare and transition smoothly from school to work.
The department also teamed up with the SAO (Career Planning and Development Section) to run a workshop on AI job-seeking skills – “Tips for Utilizing Gen AI for Job Hunting”, attended by about 70 students. The workshop covered resume writing, interview tips, aptitude test practice, and how to use AI tools to improve job search success.
The department will keep offering career activities to help students gain experience and improve their skills.
