Commercial Team
Deliveroo
Deliveroo is a food delivery company that serves as an intermediary between customers and restaurants. As an intern under Commercial Team, I participated in various projects, such as the procurement of paper bags, a sustainable packaging project, and CRM-related tasks. Therefore, I could understand how to execute a project in a real-world business setting.
I was allowed to learn a skill set that I was unfamiliar with and gain experience while working on the sustainable project with the other 14 interns over these three months. It provides me with the chance to advance both professionally and personally. It was my first professional project ever, and I would not have been able to complete it without the help of my fellow interns and my supervisors.
My understanding of e-commerce has improved thanks to such practical and hands-on experience. This is a fantastic chance to work on various projects and learn from some of the most wonderful people on the team.

AXA
AXA is an innovative insurer that leverages technology like Big Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to transform the customer experience. These allow to simplify the processes by which a claim is made or an insurance policy is approved. I feel very honoured to be offered to join the AXA Corporate Internship Programme this summer.
As an IT solution intern under the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) team, I am required to give professional advice ranging from analysing the potential gains in productivity using RPA robots, to the design of RPAs robot. Our team also sometimes outsources some RPA projects to different IT vendors such as IBM, Accenture and TCS. Part of my job is to work closely with the overseas vendors to ensure that schedules are met and with the requirements of our business analyst are met by the vendors.
During my internship period, I have handled several RPA projects including migrating the existing robots to the cloud system, RPA robot credential management and robotic solution on Emma project. Such practical and hands-on experience has fullered my understanding of RPA robot knowledge in Uipath.
