Dr. Daniel Mo has over fifteen years of research and consultancy experience in collaborating with companies to strive for the best-in-class supply chain. He is an active researcher and a principal investigator of several research projects. Over the years, he has published papers in international journals such as IEEE Transactions on Automation Science and Engineering, International Journal of Production Research, International Journal of Production Economics, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, INFORMS Journal on Applied Analytics (formerly Interfaces), etc. One of his research works also won the Kayamori Best Automation Paper Award Finalist during his postgraduate study.

Dr. Mo received his PhD in Industrial Engineering and Logistics Management from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2013, after worked in industry for several years. During his postgraduate study, he gained the best teaching assistant excellent award and the Sir Edward Youde Memorial Fellowship twice. In 2011, he was certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt to provide training for managers.

Before joining the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, Dr Mo worked as the lead analyst and reported directly to an executive vice president in a Fortune Global 500 company. His footprints of industrial contributions were found in the sectors of diversified manufacturing products, third-party logistics providers, community transportation organizations and after-sale service operations.
