Dr Candies Lam received her BEng(Hons) and MBA from The University of Hong Kong, and MSc and PhD from The University of Essex in the UK. She has 20 years’ experience in IT consultancy, security risk assessment and IT audit in the finance and public sectors. She obtained the Gold Award at the Cybersecurity Professional Award in 2016. She holds a number of professional qualifications including CISSP, CISA, CISM, PMP, CEH, CHFI and ISO27001 Lead Auditor.
Currently, Candies serves as a visiting lecturer at the Hong Kong Community College and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University on different areas of information technology and risk management. Her research interests include cyber security, IT risk assessment, risk management and FinTech.
