The First International Conference on “Supply Chain Sustainability”

The First International Conference on “Supply Chain Sustainability” organized by the Department of Supply Chain Management was successfully held on 11th – 12th January 2014.


It was our great pleasure and honor to invite well-known academics including Professor Eldon Li (National Chengchi University), Professor Xiande Zhao (China Europe International Business School) and Professor Zhaohui Wang (Guangdong University of Finance & Economics) as our keynote speakers sharing their valuable views on green supply chains and emerging SCM-related issues with conference participants. Besides, two Industry Panel Sessions were organized in which industry leaders and representatives from major supply chain related associations (IPSHK, SCSA, ISM-PRD, CILTH and HKLA) and reputable organizations (Li & Fung, Power Hub, Ricoh and AOC Ltd) discussed supply chain sustainability from their professional perspectives. We would like to show again our appreciation to the supporting organizations for their assistance and thank all participants attending this successful conference.
